The current season of Big Brother Naija has had so many highlights from different discussions that the 26 housemates have had since the reality show started.
On Tuesday evening, Saga, Nini and Saskay had a conversation about falling in love and catching feelings in the house.
Saskay stated that falling in love in the house is different from other experiences because everyone is in an enclosed environment unlike the outside world.
Nini agreed with her that been in the house can make someone fall in love with someone that they barely know. She further said that Jaypaul and Saskay had feelings for themselves in the house but they can get out of the house and find out they are not the perfect pair.
Saskay replied, “yes, falling in love in the house is a big risk.”
Saga answered, “it’s a risk but it’s not different from other experiences because even if you were getting to know someone in the university, around your neighborhood or randomly, it’s still a risk.”
Saskay replied, “yes, they are all risk but some of us aren’t willing to take that risk in the house because it’s special. You wake up everyday to the same set of people, so it’s definitely different.”
Saga answered, “it’s not special, yes it’s a known fact that when you spend a lot of time with someone in the house, you can catch feelings and fall in love with them but it’s the same thing outside the house, you can’t really know someone completely, so instead of focusing on the risk, enjoy yourself because those risks will always be there.”
Nini responded, “yes, those risks will always be there, but you know that you can fall in love with someone in the house and when you guys go outside, you can drift apart or get even closer. So, it’s a risk not everyone is willing to take.”
It’s well known that falling in love is a risk in and outside the house but almost everything we do in life is also a risk, even going to work everyday is a risk but in life we have to take risks to achieve our goals.
