Taylor Swift gave fans a preview of her new album “Midnights” before it was released on October 21. Swift revealed the names of the songs on the track list in typical Swiftie fashion.
Swift spun a bingo wheel with balls numbered one through thirteen in a TikTok video series called “Midnights Mayhem with Me,” which began at midnight on September 21 and was called “Midnights Mayhem with Me” (a digit for each track on the album).
The number ball she tossed matched the name of the track she mentioned. The first ball she chose was number 13, which is the singer’s lucky number and is frequently used in her art as a hidden message.
“Midnights” has 13 songs, one fewer than Swift’s previous two albums, “Folklore” and “Evermore,” which had 16 and 15 songs, respectively. “Midnights” will be divided into two sides, according to the singer. Target’s “Midnights” special edition CD will also include three bonus songs.
The album’s songs are all about the same thing. Swift announced on Instagram that “Midnights” would tell the “stories of 13 sleepless nights” in her life. Swift has previously written lyrics about midnight, so this is essentially a longer version of a favorite theme.
