Indie pop band based in London, formed in early 2017, Superorganism unreleased new album project “World Wide Pop” reportedly leaked online.
When the first Superorganism music came out in 2017, the group’s in-your-face style—a post-everything mix of psychedelic indie pop and fizzy, funky electronica—quickly caught on with artists like Frank Ocean, Vampire Weekend, Jehnny Beth, and Gorillaz, as well as gaining them millions of fans all over the world.
Today, Superorganism announced their eagerly awaited return with news of their second album. It’s called World Wide Pop and will be out on July 15; it’s their first new music since their 2018 self-titled debut.
