Don Q is still one of the best lyricists in the city right now. He sounds like he’s hunting blood every time he approaches the microphone. This week, he released “Bulletproof,” in which he reminds his opponents that they are the farthest thing from immortal. He gives the single a Mob boss vibe, revealing his top-dog position in the criminal underground over creepy production.
Don Q’s most recent album, Double Or Nothing, was released in October 2021, roughly three years after his major-label debut, Don Season 2. With Don Q’s recent series of releases, it’s possible that his follow-up to Double Or Nothing may be released soon.
