Noah Cyrus, the multi-platinum selling, GRAMMY® Award-nominated vocalist and artist, returns today with a fresh new single ‘I Burned LA Down,’ as well as the announcement of her highly awaited debut album, ‘The Hardest Part,’ which will be released on July 15 via RECORDS / Columbia Records.
‘I Burned LA Down,’ released today, is the first single from the 22-year-old Nashville-born, Los Angeles-based songwriter’s exceptional body of work. This new chapter, which is light years above anything she’s previously published, will surely position Noah Cyrus firmly in the highest tier of modern singer-songwriters.
When asked about the new song, Noah says, “Living in California, you’re always concerned about wildfire season. I was still hurting from my breakup at the time, and Caldor was all over the news. All of my internal, emotional agony was connected with my fear about the raging fire and climate change in general.”
