Me vs. Me is the third mixtape by Memphis, Tennessee, rapper NLE Choppa. It follows up on Choppa’s sophomore mixtape, From Dark to Light. Ahead of the release of the project, Choppa tagged fellow Memphis heavyweight Moneybagg Yo to join him on their first song together, “Too Hot,” which came with equally smoldering visuals. Me vs. Me also comes with visuals for “Shotta Flow 6.”
NLE Choppa is only 19 years old, but his rap career has already gone down a multitude of different pathways. He started as a hard-hitting rapper with savage bars before transitioning into a peaceful and meditative lane. Me vs. Me falls somewhere in the middle of these two extremes: there is plenty of introspection, but OG Choppa fans will be pleased to hear that the explosiveness is still present in his music.
