Late American rapper, singer, and songwriter, Jarad Anthony Higgins, known professionally as Juice Wrld, new song titled, “Cigarettes” has been released by the rapper’s record label.
On “Cigarettes,” Juice WRLD raps about his extensive addictions. Detailing his frequented topics of love and drugs, he notes how this specific girl “picks his heart off of the floor” and “keeps him up when he’s feeling low.“ This track first leaked on October 7, 2018, before being taken down on copyright grounds. However, since then, many full-length leaks have resurfaced in late 2019 and early 2020 before the tracks official release.
“Cigarettes” arrives just short of two months after December’s Fighting Demons, the second posthumous Juice WRLD album to be released. Juice WRLD: Into the Abyss, an HBO documentary about the late Chicago rapper, was released on December 16. Legends Never Die, his first posthumous album, was released in July 2020. Speaking with Complex in December, Lil Bibby, who discovered and signed Juice WRLD to his label Grade A Productions, said that there were over 2,000 Juice WRLD songs vaulted, estimating that “maybe about 700 of them already leaked.”
