American rapper, singer, and record producer, Makonnen Kamali Sheran, better known by his stage name iLoveMakonnen, new song “You Just Wanna Get High” leaked online off “Summer ’22” album featuring NBA Youngboy and more.
Makonnen began a blog in 2008, where she interviewed musicians such as Lil B and Soulja Boy. Simultaneously, he began his musical career by uploading tracks to MySpace and drew inspiration from his opera singer grandma.
Makonnen relocated to Atlanta in 2012, when he met producer Mike WiLL Made-It. Mike exposed him to local musicians such as Metro Boomin and Sonny Digital.
