The rapper from Mobile, Alabama’s forthcoming effort follows the release of her 12-track first mixtape Ho, Why Are You Here? in 2020. The new song “Pay Day” by Flo Milli delivers a taste of what’s to come in the remainder of the album.
It demonstrates her assured demeanor and powerful, but amusing flow. “Long-ass weave flow down my back (40 inch)/I want a photo with a baseball bat (Swing)/Hoes don’t like it when I speak like that/Please don’t bark because Milli bites back,” Flo Milli raps in the opening stanza.
The high-energy music video demonstrates that Flo Milli is the author of her own tale. Scenes take place at a beauty shop, a bedroom, and outdoors. This year, the rapper released “PBC” and collaborated with Monaleo on “We Not Humping (Remix).”
