Charley Crockett has released a new album. We’ve talked about it a lot on the World Cafe over the last few years.
He has released 11 albums since 2015. The Man From Waco will be released on Friday. It differs from his previous releases in that he chose to work with a new producer, his longtime manager Bruce Robison, and record the entire album with his backing band, The Blue Drifters. He also desired a live-to-tape sound for the album, with everyone recording in the same room.
