Burna Boy’s sixth studio album is finally here, a little later than expected.
The Nigerian singer-long-awaited songwriter’s follow-up to 2020’s Twice as Tall, Love, Damini, came out on Friday. Burna, whose real name is Damini Ebunoluwa Ogulu, announced the project in April and later confirmed that it would come out on July 2, which would be his 31st birthday. After the original release date passed, Burna told fans that the album would come out a week later than planned.
Love, Damini has 19 songs, including the singles “Kilometre” and “Last Last,” which were already out. On the project, Kehlani, J Balvin, Khalid, Popcaan, J Hus, and even Ed Sheeran, who is on “For My Hand,” all make guest appearances. Last week, Burna and Sheeran sang the song at Wembley Stadium and released the official music video for it at the same time as Love, Damini.
